Griffon Hoverwork Ltd, Weatherhaven Global Solutions Ltd and BISEN Ltd have completed the feasibility study for Petgas Global Consulting Ltd (Petgas).  The feasibility study was conducted under contract from Petgas demonstrate the applicability of Hovercraft Technology to support Nigeria’s Oil and Gas Industry.  The study used a Griffon 380TD hovercraft based from Warri to conduct a survey through the waterways, beaches and on land of a new gas project near Escravos.

The 380TD hovercraft was successfully imported, operated and re-exported by Petgas.  Milestone 3 was completed and paid in full in November and the final milestone is expected to be paid before the end of 2015.  The study has built confidence for potential importers in the competence of Petgas to manage Nigerian customs processes, import regulations and in-country transport.
